Art Robinson, Technical Trainer, Western Region for NTN, is an ASE Master Certified Automotive and Diesel Technician with over 20 years of hands-on industry experience. A Ford FACT graduate of Universal Technical Institute (Class of 2008), Art is Ford and Lincoln certified and spent six years working as a Master Technician before transitioning into technical education.

For more than a decade, Art has served as an automotive instructor and technical trainer, including time supporting Ford training programs with a focus on flow chart diagnostics, electrical systems, and emerging vehicle technologies. He has also been instrumental in the development of the BCA in the Bay Technician Training Program, helping shape our hands-on curriculum designed to reflect real-world diagnostic challenges faced in today’s service bays.

Art’s current areas of expertise include EV and hybrid systems, vehicle safety and ADAS technologies, engine management, and active suspension and steering systems.
