Ryan Kooiman has been the Director of Training at Standard Motor Products for over a dozen years.  In this role he oversees the Professional Technician Seminars training program, SMP’s Engineering Vehicle Test Center, Tech Line and various sales training programs.  Prior to his time at SMP, Ryan spent 16 years as an aftermarket technician.

Ryan is currently on the Board of Directors for ASE, Board of Directors for AMRA, as well as a trustee at Unity Christian High School and chair of the MEMA Mobility Technology Council.  It is with his passion for people and all things automotive that Ryan uses his experience and skills to assist with getting the right part to the right person and properly installed on the right vehicle.
