Kim Auernheimer is the Owner and CEO of CS Automotive, with locations in Brentwood and Monteagle, Tennessee. After relocating from California’s Central Valley to Tennessee in 2005, she and her family quickly settled in and established deep roots. In October 2006, she and her husband, Rob, founded CS Automotive, laying the groundwork for what would become a leading name in the industry.

Before fully stepping into the business, Kim built a successful career in commercial real estate and property management. In July 2011, she transitioned from working behind the scenes to joining Rob full-time, bringing her leadership and strategic vision to the forefront.

A firm believer in continuous education, Kim actively pursues training opportunities for herself and her team, ensuring that knowledge is applied to elevate both their business and the industry. She is passionate about improving the reputation of automotive repair, collaborating with shop owners and industry leaders to enhance the customer experience. Her focus is on building trust and transparency, from the first phone call to the moment a customer drives their vehicle off the lot.

In 2015, Kim earned the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation, completing 120 credit hours in leadership, marketing, customer relations, accounting, and other core business competencies. She furthered her expertise in 2017 by obtaining the Accredited Master Automotive Manager (AMAM) designation with an additional 60 hours of advanced coursework.

Her dedication to the industry was recognized in 2020, when she was named Women in Auto Care’s “Female Shop Owner of the Year.” This prestigious award honors female shop owners who have made a significant impact on the auto care community. Kim was selected for her passion for mentoring and educating fellow shop owners, helping to shape the next generation of industry leaders.

Kim and Rob are proud parents to their son, Jacob, and his beautiful wife, Nicole. In November 2024, they were overjoyed to welcome their granddaughter, Campbell. They also have an incredible daughter, Ema—making them the proud parents of three outstanding young adults and the most beautiful granddaughter.
