I have an Associate in Applied Science in Automotive Technology. The program was backed by Chrysler and General Motors, and while in college I worked for a Ford dealership, which allowed me to learn all three domestic brands. After college I went on to work at a Kia dealership, where I achieved my A.S.E and Kia Master Tech certifications. I am a certified Pennsylvania emissions and safety inspector, EPA 609 certified, and hold A.S.E. L1 and L3. I was the lead technician at the dealership, which allowed me to see some of the most difficult and challenging vehicle issues that came through the shop. This allowed me to hone my diagnostic skills, and teach my fellow technicians different approaches and diagnostic methods to solve problems.

After being in the dealership for many years, I became the service manager for a six-bay independent shop, which owns a six-bay body shop as well.  Running a shop of this size allowed me to see many different drivability issues, along with a lot of electrical and programming issues on the body shop side. Throughout my career I have always been driven to learn new techniques and grow into a better technician.  I have traveled around the country to take all the  training I could, and learn better techniques from the best instructors and technicians in the country. I would then come back and apply what I learned in my shop, and would teach my staff of technicians to help them rise to the next level.

My passion for diagnostics led me to start my part-time mobile diagnostic business, and also led me to develop and instruct some training classes for some of our local automotive chapters. I am constantly growing as a technician and improving my skills. I Love to see not just technicians, but all people grow and get better at what ever their goals or passion is. My goal is to help keep moving the industry forward, and improving for the better, by helping technicians learn and grow.
