AAPEX 2024 Reception to Honor Service and Repair Professionals

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Oct. 8, 2024 – AAPEX 2024 will host a reception on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to acknowledge and thank automotive service and repair professionals for their exceptional work and vital commitment to keeping the motoring public on the road. The AAPEX 2024 Service and Repair Award recipients also will be recognized for their leadership and dedication to training and professionalism.   

In addition, AAPEX will welcome special guest and automotive technician Faye Hadley to this year’s reception. Hadley is the co-host of MotorTrend’s All Girls Garage, the featured mechanic on MotorTrend’s Motor Mythbusters, and the owner of Pistons & PixieDust, an automotive repair shop specializing in Toyota with a focus on custom Supras. 

All AAPEX attendees and exhibiting companies are invited to join the celebration from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., in Joe’s Garage, Level 1, The Venetian Expo. The reception is sponsored by Solid Start/True Brand Products, Booth A5445 and Bay 10 in Joe’s Garage.

Prior to the reception, automotive service professionals are invited to an informal meetup organized by father and son team Sherwood Cooke Jr. and Sherwood Cooke III of Royalty Auto Service. Joe’s Garage is dedicated to meeting the needs of service and repair professionals. It includes a built-out shop with 10 bays, lifts, running vehicles and a source capture vehicle exhaust extraction system for hands-on learning and product and equipment demonstrations. For the first time, the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA) Powertrain Expo, the largest gathering of transmission repair specialists in the world with approximately 100 exhibiting companies, will take place in Joe’s Garage. The new ADAS Stage and the EV Experience Stage will be located in this area, as will be sections dedicated to Tools & Equipment, Diagnostics/Telematics/Shop Management Solutions and Tire Servicing.
