Gerrot Jacobson is an ASE Master Technician (L1 certified) with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology. He has spent the past 13 years as a college-level instructor in Engine Performance, following a career in diagnostic, drivability, tuning, and electronic systems work in the automotive industry.

His expertise centers on simplifying complex vehicle systems particularly electronic diagnostics, waveforms, and performance calibration into clear, practical knowledge that students and technicians can apply immediately. Before teaching, he worked extensively in real-world diagnostic and tuning environments, building a strong foundation in both factory and aftermarket performance systems.

Gerrot specializes in GM and Dodge performance calibration using platforms such as HP Tuners, AMP EFI, and FuelTech. His focus includes drivability refinement, efficiency optimization, and performance tuning across a wide range of applications, from daily-driven vehicles to dedicated race builds.
