Tell us a little about your shop.

Dynamic Automotive is an Industry Leader in automotive repair. Dynamic Automotive has been serving Frederick County residents since 1995 and has established a coveted reputation as an honest, responsive, and competitive automotive repair company. At Dynamic Automotive we use the utmost in State of the Art Technology and Advanced Level Technicians to service your domestic and import vehicles.

If someone were to ask us what makes Dynamic Automotive different than every other shop, that’s simple, education! We are big believers in educating ourselves, our team, our customers, and the community as a whole. We began this business by not only learning how to work on cars, we wanted to learn how to operate a shop that was respected and able to be relied upon.

Dynamic Automotive is big on giving back to the community, by supporting our local schools, fire departments, and other local nonprofit organizations. Community-based shops are special because they give you the opportunity to become close with your customers. This closeness is what inspired our brand, Where Customers Become Friends!

Does your shop specialize in any certain repairs or specialties?

We work on all makes and models. We recently closed our carwash and turned it into an ADAS calibration center. We have been working with body shops to perform calibrations.

What is a fun fact about you and/or your shop?

We are big fans for education. When we go to travel events, we spend an extra day sightseeing and having some in the area. It would be a crime to take someone to Vegas or Chicago and not have some fun. It is a great team building experience.

Have you been to the AAPEX show?

Yes for the last decade

What did you find most beneficial about attending AAPEX?

Getting to see the entire aftermarket. We are able to look at new ideas, get info on what’s coming, get educated on it and stay at the for front of the industry

What are you most looking forward to while attending AAPEX this year?

Reconnecting with my industry friends

Will any of your staff be attending?

Yes we bring 6 to 10 team members each year for education, product information, networking and an understanding of how great and massive our industry is.

Do you receive the AAPEX Newsletter? If yes, do you read it?

Yes, especially info on new products and education

What is currently the biggest issue the automotive aftermarket is facing?

Right to Repair

What have been the biggest challenges your shop has faced over the last 2 years?

It has been a mix of labor, parts supply and inflation.

What is your view on the future of the Automotive Aftermarket?

It is amazing. We are in a great time and it will continue to improve. The aftermarket always finds a way to provide what our customers need.

What emerging technology or industry trend within the automotive aftermarket are you most excited about?

We closed our tunnel carwash and turned it into an adas center. The opportunity with this is great.

If you could give other shop owners one piece of advice, what would it be?

Invest in your people and community. It is the way to success.

What is the future for service professionals in the Automotive Aftermarket?

It has an exciting future. There are so many opportunities for the Automotive Aftermarket. Technology changes on a daily basis and when we keep up with it we will have a bright future.

In the last 5 years, which advancement in technology has made service professional’s job more efficient?

We are more connected than we have ever been. The formation of peer groups where technicians can share their issues and receive help from people that have seen that problem before. It’s an information and knowledge world. The more we can access that the better we are.

What are three things you want people to know about service professionals?

  • How smart technicians are.
  • How complicated vehicles have become.
  • It is a people business. We fix cars but what we do is take care of people. We make them feel safe, secure, have the ability to get to work and take their kids to their sporting events. We do so much more than fix their car.

What about AAPEX is most beneficial to service professionals?

There are so many benefits for service professionals at AAPEX. The educational classes are top-notch and help us stay current with technical, sales, and leadership training. Getting to see all the products that are available to us. There is no other place where you can meet so many people from different parts of our industry.
