- U.S. Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) adoption has steadily increased at an approximately 25% CAGR since 2019. BEV adoption is estimated to reach 30% of total sales by 2030 and climb to 59% by 2035.
- By 2030, 24 million BEVs are estimated on road, of which 15% will be 6+ years old. Aftermarket players will need to develop their BEV service catalogue, with investment estimates for a small- to medium-size shops at $80K to $270K. New dedicated BEV service shops have started to pop up in areas of high adoption.
- By 2030, 38% of new vehicles sold in China will be new-energy vehicles.
