Tony Zanders has been a driving force in the automotive repair industry for over four decades, shaping the aftermarket landscape with his leadership, expertise, and passion for business excellence. After graduating high school, he attended Phoenix Institute of Technology and went on to build a top-performing shop, which he and his wife successfully sold in 2021.
A respected industry leader, Tony was a founding Board Member and first Chairman of the inaugural Car Care Professionals Network (CCPN) Board for the Auto Care Association. His contributions as a business leader have earned him top honors, including the regional NAPA ASE Technician of the Year and the BBB Torch Award.
Beyond running a successful shop, Tony advises on financial benchmarking, business development, leadership, customer service, shop workflow, and pricing strategies in coaching mastermind groups and consulting. His reputation as a thought leader has made him a sought-after speaker at high-profile industry events, including AAPEX, Auto Care Association’s Town Hall Meeting, and NAPA EXPO, inspiring an audience of over 10,000.
Committed to shaping the next generation of automotive professionals, Tony teaches in the automotive program at the College of Western Idaho as an adjunct professor. He also gives back through Inspire Idaho, helping young adults aging out of foster care gain access to vehicles and essential maintenance skills. As a founding partner of D6 Elements, Tony continues to consult and inspire business leaders, equipping them with strategies for sustainable success.
