Dave’s automotive career began over 45 years ago in his family’s auto electric business in Kokomo Indiana.  15 years later he moved into the OEM world (General Motors) with roles as a technical hotline advisor, field engineer and electronics systems instructor for engineers at GM Delco Electronics. Dave is an ASE certified master automotive technician with L1 (Advanced Engine Performance) and L3 (Hybrid/Electric Vehicles) specialist certifications and has worked on ASE test writing committees for high voltage vehicle safety. Dave is a frequent speaker at national automotive conferences, a technical writer for several trade magazines and an instructor in numerous training videos.  He has also served (part time) as an adjunct instructor at several Ivy Tech Community College campuses in Indiana for over 20 years.  After over four decades of keeping up with changes in transportation technologies, Dave knows firsthand that the only ‘constant’ in the world of automotive service is ‘change’!
