The AAPEX Opening Reception Rocks

AAPEX 2025 opened in Las Vegas with energy that reflected an industry on the move. The Venetian Expo lobby was packed with aftermarket experts, industry friends and a lot of fun on Monday evening before AAPEX opened the doors. The high-energy gathering set the tone for the week ahead as suppliers, distributors, and service professionals reconnected before the exhibit floor officially opened. Conversations flowed easily. Clearly, relationships remain at the heart of the aftermarket. It all took place to a soundtrack played by The Babcox Media Garage Band, presented by The Group.
As the show opens, everyone is eager to see the newly segmented show floor, organized by product and service category—helped attendees navigate efficiently and connect with the solutions that matter most to their businesses. That reimagined layout stretched across The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, encompassing more than 1,400 product categories, including dedicated areas for tools, equipment, electric vehicles, and international sourcing. Nearly one-third of exhibitors represented 46 countries, reinforcing AAPEX’s global reach.
Tuesday brings a full lineup of events designed to keep that connection going. The Keynote Breakfast at the Palazzo Ballroom featured hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, who’s expected to share lessons on mindset and adaptability—qualities that resonate across the aftermarket’s fast-changing landscape.
Later in the day, the Free Buyers Lunch, held daily from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the International Sourcing Hall at Caesars Forum, offers a relaxed setting for buyers to recharge and talk business. The afternoon turns social with the Beers and Gears Networking Reception in Joe’s Garage from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.—a chance for service and repair professionals to connect over live demonstrations and shared experiences.
International networking takes center stage Tuesday evening. The Import Vehicle Community Fabulous Networking Reception (5:00–6:30 p.m., Titian Ballroom) brings together import and export leaders, followed by the Overseas Automotive Council (OAC) Global Reception (6:30–8:00 p.m., Flight Club Las Vegas), where more than 500 global buyers, distributors, and suppliers are expected to attend.
Midweek, AAPEX continues with the MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Member & Media Breakfast Briefing, the Women in Auto Care Awards Ceremony Breakfast, and the Student Engine Assembly Competition, offering a mix of insight, recognition, and education.
