When the show floor shuts its doors, the buzz of the packed exhibit hall ventures out into the night to one of the many receptions at AAPEX. The YANG Reception and OAC Global Reception, just to name a few, offered a welcome refreshment and conversation about the biggest news from the show. The MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers’ Overseas Automotive Council (OAC) hosted a Global Reception, this year in a new location at The Venetian. This event is well-known as a top global networking event during AAPEX, and this year was no different.

Automotive professionals from more than 35 countries gathered for a night of networking and celebration, discussing the latest industry trends, and celebrating the industry’s growth. 

The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), a community of the Auto Care Association geared toward the under-40 industry professional, returned to Las Vegas for the 2023 AAPEX show with its largest and most-anticipated YANG Regional Meet-Up to date.

The YANG community gathered on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the Palazzo Pool Deck, located in the Palazzo Tower of The Venetian Resort, just down the hall from the AAPEX show floor. YANG members and mentors enjoyed a full bar, appetizers, and giveaways.

“AAPEX is the most encompassing picture of our industry that we get throughout the year, and thanks to the kindness of the Automotive Parts Services Group, it is also the largest gathering that YANG is able to have as well. We were truly excited to see such a large portion of our industry’s next generation come together in Vegas to connect,” said Grace Hovis, YANG Chair.

The YANG Reception at AAPEX was open to all YANG community members and YANG mentors.
