TechForce to host several events at aapex

TechForce Foundation is set to host several activities at AAPEX 2024, including a special student event, a guided show tour and the unveiling of a new children’s book, The Car She Built.
On Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, TechForce will welcome approximately 125 students for a condensed two-hour event designed to introduce them to the latest in the automotive aftermarket industry. The schedule is as follows:
- 8:30 am: Welcome remarks by TechForce, Auto Care Association and The Humble Mechanic, followed by a group photo at the Sustainability Stage, located in the Venetian Expo Lobby, Level 2.
- 9:00 – 10:00 am: Students will embark on a guided tour of the AAPEX Show Floor, giving them a firsthand look at the innovation and technology shaping the industry.
- 10:30 am: Students will board shuttle buses to SEMA, where they are free to explore the show on their own after the AAPEX tour concludes.
Unveiling of The Car She Built
TechForce will also debut its new children’s book, The Car She Built, during the Women in Auto Care Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. The unveiling will take place on the AAPEX Stage in the Venetian Expo Level 2 Lobby. The book celebrates women’s contributions to the automotive industry and aims to inspire the next generation of talent.
