Featured Dorman parts at AAPEX include:

  • OE FIX EPS rack for Ram 1500 trucks;
  • OE FIX rear A/C lines for Chrysler minivans;
  • OE FIX engine coolant reservoir hose for specified Fords; and
  • OE FIX oil filter housing for Pentastar V6 engines.

“AAPEX is one of Dorman’s greatest opportunities to connect directly with customers and industry peers. It’s where we see the latest technologies in action and share our own solutions that help shops and technicians every day,” said Jeff Darby, Dorman senior vice president and chief commercial officer. “Just as important, it’s a chance to support the next generation of talent who will carry the industry forward.”

In addition to announcing new products, Dorman hosted a technician training in Joe’s Garage on Nov. 4 titled “Diesel Information for the Non-Diesel Technician.” Dorman Training Center’s Jerry “G” Truglia conducted this course ideal for smaller shops without a dedicated diesel bay. Dorman is also sponsoring the inaugural Student Engine Assembly Competition to help champion workforce development and the advancement of automotive education for the next generation of technicians. Taking place in Joe’s Garage on Nov. 5 from 10 to 11 a.m. PT, this timed competition gives auto techs-in-training the opportunity to get hands-on trade experience by dissembling and reassembling a Chevrolet 5.7L V8 engine. Attendees will see firsthand the importance of cultivating emerging talent, equipping professionals with the skills they need to succeed in this rapidly evolving industry.

Through its involvement at industry events like AAPEX, Dorman maintains its commitment to driving innovation while supporting the professionals who are shaping the future of the automotive aftermarket.
