AUMOVIO, SAP Partner on Cloud Transformation System

AUMOVIO and SAP have entered a long-term partnership to accelerate cloud transformation across AUMOVIO’s global IT landscape. The agreement includes a full migration to SAP’s cloud-based ERP system. The cloud transformation supports faster processes, real-time data and more agile scaling for the mobility technology company.

AUMOVIO will migrate its SAP software, infrastructure and services to SAP Cloud ERP Private. The move provides a secure digital foundation for future business processes. It also supports the rapid rollout of updates and new tools, including AI agents.

“Our move into corporate independence was the perfect starting point to rethink our future IT setup. With SAP Cloud ERP Private, we’re taking the next steps toward cloud transformation, more efficient IT structures and digital innovation,” Chief Information Officer Thorsten Pache said.

Cloud Transformation Drives Agility

The cloud transformation improves speed across key business functions. AUMOVIO said it expects stronger scalability, streamlined costs and better support for global growth. Real-time data harmonization across locations will help teams make faster, more informed decisions.

Enhanced process visibility will boost supply chain transparency and reduce operational risk. The first migration steps will begin later this year with a lift-and-shift approach. This method transfers existing applications into the cloud without major changes to ensure quick implementation.
