Lumileds, a lighting solutions company, is extending its Philips Ultinon Drive 5000 Series of LED Lightbars to include eight models. The series now includes 10-, 20- and 30-in. versions, each in a choice of single or double LED rows as well as 40- and 50-in. double row versions for off-road adventures.

Trail-ready engineering

Philips Ultinon Drive LED lightbars deliver reliable, brilliant illumination in the real-world environments that serious off-roaders travel. They are constructed with 6063 aluminum one-piece bodies and are rated IK07 for resistance to impacts and IP69K for resistance to water and dust. Lexan light covers provide excellent resistance to impacts and scratches, and they won’t yellow or fog over time. Stainless-steel brackets provide extreme resistance to weather, salt and impacts, and available heavy-duty automotive-grade wire harnesses feature DT connectors for fast installation and superior water resistance.

State-of-the art LEDs and electronics

The LEDs used in Ultinon Drive LED lightbars feature a spherical LED lens design that puts more of the light out in front of the driver. The lightbars’ electronics feature intelligent temperature control and reverse polarity protection, and they don’t create electrical interference that can affect vehicle functions.

“Off-roaders have been asking for better light, better reliability and better durability, and we designed our solutions to deliver on all accounts,” said Jason Dreger, Lumileds product manager.

New LED Pod lights

In addition to the expanded line of lightbars, Lumileds will be adding new LED Pod and Driving Lights to the Ultinon Drive 5000 line in 2023. Lumileds will offer five different configurations of LED Pod and Driving lights including 3-in. square spot, driving and flood lights; a 4-in. round flood light; and a 7-in. round with a combination driving/flood beam pattern. All have LED heat sinks, stainless steel brackets and Lexan light covers.

“These new Pod and Driving Light LEDs will give off-roaders more chances to customize their vehicle lighting and help better illuminate whatever road lays ahead,” added Dreger.
