AAPEX 2019 Announces Best Booth Award Winners

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Nov. 7, 2019 – AAPEX 2019 presented Best Booth Awards to 11 exhibiting companies during a ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas. For the first time, Honorable Mentions also were awarded in all categories.

To select the winners, top trade show professionals from different segments of the exhibition industry toured the show floor during AAPEX. Judges used the following criteria to evaluate booths: creative attention-grabbing techniques, effective visual communications, effective staffing practices, smart exhibit access and attendee navigation, and engaging and informative presentations and demonstrations.

Judges were Kimberly Hardcastle Geddes, CEM, president, Marketing Design Group; Carrie Ferenac, president, CNTV, and Nancy Drapeau, PRC, senior research director, CEIR – The Center for Exhibition Industry Research.

Awards were presented by Bill Hanvey, president and CEO of the Auto Care Association, and Paul McCarthy, president and COO of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA).

The Best of Show Award for 10 x 10 or Linear went to Tuff Support/Suspensia, with Honorable Mention going to ToM-PaR.

The Best of Show Award for Peninsula or Island went to Schaeffler, with Honorable Mention going to TAITRA – Taiwan Excellence.
