AAPEX 2021 will officially kickoff – bright and early – with Tuesday’s Keynote session. The aftermarket is coming home to Vegas to reconvene, cover hot topics and dialogue on what the future holds for our industry. 

CEOs of well-known retailer and warehouse distributor buyer companies will take the stage to participate in a Buyers’ Panel roundtable discussion, moderated by Karyn Schoenbart, CEO of The NPD Group and featuring the following panelists:

  • Sue Godschalk, President, Federated Auto Parts
  • Tom Greco, President and CEO of Advance Auto Parts

Prior to the panel, the program will begin with a celebratory “Welcome Home” address from industry association presidents Bill Hanvey and Paul McCarthy. They’ll focus on a State of the Industry, advocacy issues – and ways to support efforts – as well as the resilience of the aftermarket in the last year plus.

About the Speakers

Bill Hanvey is president and CEO of the Auto Care Association, which represents the entire supply chain of the automotive aftermarket: manufacturers, distributors, retailers and shops. Bill has spent his entire 35+ year career in the aftermarket, previously serving as senior vice president of AASA and in sales and marketing leadership roles at Tenneco, FleetPride, Dorman and Schaeffler.

Paul T. McCarthy is president and CEO of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), which connects suppliers of aftermarket parts, chemicals, tools, diagnostics, and technologies to industry analysis, peer forums, customer and technology trends, global insights, and government advocacy. Paul has over a quarter century of experience in the automotive industry, with prior experience as MEMA senior vice president and leader of the Automotive and Industrial Products Strategy Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
