    ZF Aftermarket has announced the launch of a new steering damper range to the TRW and SACHS branded product lines. This new product line combines steering technology with the high performance and quality behind all TRW and SACHS ride control products.

    The steering damper program of both TRW and SACHS offers applications for recent and late model vehicles. These products are designed to remove uncontrolled steering or undesired side-to-side movement in the steering of the vehicle and ensure a like-new handling and driving experience.

    “We are pleased to bring steering dampers to the TRW and SACHS offering, meeting market demand and customer requests. With each new range extension and new product launch, ZF Aftermarket is improving our coverage and continues to bring quality components to our customers,” said Justin Hynes, ZF Aftermarket Senior Product Manager – Ride Control.

    With a total of 14 new part numbers, the application range for both the TRW and SACHS steering damper covers more than 22.6 million vehicles in operation; including the Dodge Ram 1500 (07-00), Ford Explorer (01-95), Jeep Grand Cherokee (98-93) and others.

    • Range extension applications further TRW’s position of “True Originals” in the automotive aftermarket

    The expanded TRW Corner Module product lines for braking, steering and suspension includes a new offering with more than 100 SKUs added to the range. These new applications continue TRW’s position of ‘True Originals” in the automotive aftermarket.

    Over the past quarter, the TRW brand has added a total of 155 SKUs to the Corner Module offering: including 23 SKUs for ride control spanning more than 14.9 million vehicles in operation, 114 SKUs for chassis spanning more than 60.9 million vehicles in operation and 18 SKUs for braking components spanning more than 4.3 million vehicles in operation.

    The new SKUs cover an extensive list of makes and models including:
    • Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup 2016-2009 and Honda Civic 2015-2012 for ride control
    • Nissan Rogue 2017-2008 and Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015-2011 for chassis
    • Ram ProMaster 2018-14 and Hyundai Santa Fe 2017 for braking components

    Attendees that visit ZF Aftermarket Booth 5062 will have the exclusive opportunity to view a ZF transmission from the inside with ‘Hololens’ technology.     ZF Aftermarket will also display a new generation of TRW brake pads developed specifically for electric vehicles under the name ‘Electric Blue’. Representing ZF Aftermarket’s highly innovative capacity, these significantly reduce interior noise as well as brake dust. The brake pads will be available for the 15 most popular electric vehicles, covering 97 percent of the European e-car market.

    ZF Aftermarket is hosting a variety of technical training sessions during the course of the Automotive Aftermarket Expo (AAPEX). Trainings will cover topics such as modern driving dynamics and the basics of ZF transmission technology. Over the course of the week, ZF technical trainings will occur at ZF Aftermarket booth #5062, the Mobility Garage booth #58005 and the AAPEX Let’s Tech stage.

    Technical Excellence
    “AAPEX is a unique opportunity for us, as technical trainers,” said Dirk Fuchs, ZF Aftermarket Technical Training Manager. “It gives us a chance to meet face-to-face with so many more customers, technicians, shop owners and industry professionals than any other show.”

    The ZF Aftermarket Technical Training team will host more than 20 technical training sessions throughout Industry Week, including one session on the AAPEX’s Let’s Tech stage.
