Engineered Custom Coatings
Zero D Hand Lotion was born out of necessity: People who work on paint lines know what we’re talking about. Zero D stands for Zero Defects. Over the counter hand creams contain silicone, oils, and perfumes which are easily transferred to parts on a paint line. Even if gloves are required, often workers will put them aside to perform a delicate task.
Factory conditions, especially in the winter, can lead to extremely dry hands. Cracks appear on your fingertips and can be very painful. Almost all the leading hand cremes available at major drug stores and food stores, if applied to the hand, will produce either fisheyes or craters on painted parts. Zero D was formulated specifically to moisturize dry hands, but it is free of silicone, oils, and perfumes. It was tested extensively, in our lab at Prime Coatings, then tested further at several companies who painted Class A parts. It has been used on paint lines, both liquid and powder, since 2006. Workers love the non-greasy, odor-free application.
Zero D moistens dry, cracked hands and it protects the parts those hands work with.
